The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has appointed Julie Stapf as vice president of marketing and communications. Stapf goes to the Pittsburgh Symphony from the Cleveland Orchestra, where she served for several years as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to Cleveland, she held leadership positions in marketing, sales, and communications at the Hartford Stage, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, U.S. Marine Band, and the Levine School of Music.
